Overview

Time has come to explore Morocco like never before; a rich experience that has three different dimensions. This week tour blends Marrakesh, the most famous city in the world; a nearby stone desert in Agafay without losing time going all the way to Sahara, and the great Atlas Mountains. Not only that, this tour ends with a tour to the coastal town Essaouira, for relaxing and good moments.

Day 1: Arrival Marrakech Airport / Arrival at Casablanca and transfer to Marrakesh

Today, your arrival at Marrakech airport will be taken care of, our professional driver who will greet you at the airport terminal, and escort you to your accommodation in Marrakesh city, where you will have time to relax, and get ready for tomorrow.

Day 2: Marrakech City Tour, dinner and show in Agafay desert & overnight

Today, after having your breakfast in your Hotel, your professional driver will be waiting for you in front of your Hotel so as to start your city tour in the ochre town Marrakesh; half day is enough to see monuments, gardens, and must-seen spots through which you understand the history and culture without scrolling through internet as you get close to everything that this city has to offer.

You begin with Bahia Palace, beautifully decorated 19th century palace, and then Saadian Tombs, a 17th century mausoleum, a burial of Saadian dynasty. Afterwards, you pay a visit to the grand and amazing 12th century Koutoubia Mosque, best spot for souvenir picture in front of wonderful status, architecture and design.

Then, you change the atmosphere by going to one of the much-known garden in Marrakesh Majorelle Garden, a stunning garden breathtaking place that contains exotic rare plants, steams and pools Your tour comes to an end by strolling through the local streets of the old Medina, and the Jamaa Elfna Square where you will interfere with the locals and see how they live every day, and may be try a local lunch there.

After a break at some café, we go for around 50minutes’ drive from the south of Marrakesh to Agafay desert.

The latter which is the contrast of Marrakesh medina, is a peaceful, and quite spot, it gives you a taste of the aridity ofthe Sahara, so just sit in your tent and gaze at the stone dunes, and the Atlas Mountains from far away, then enjoy dinner and show before going to sleep in your tent.

Day 3: From Agafay to the Atlas Mountains – Imlil

Today, wake up to have your breakfast while staring at the great rough desert landscape; you meet your driver so as to go for an hour journey to the great high Atlas Mountains.

Your first break will be in Asni village, where you are free to try a Berber breakfast after you reach the village of Imlil. On the way you will be amazed by the breathtaking green landscapes, and very high mountains, and as you arrive at Imlil, you meet your local guide, and you go for a short hike though mountains pass, tree shaded passage ways, small waterfall, meet Berber men walking around with their Djellaba on, women doing daily home tasks, and Berber children running around.

After some relaxing time , you can enjoy a Berber lunch in a terrace of a local restaurant at your own leisure while enjoying the surrounding wonderful mountains.

Then feel free to check in your Auberge in Imlil for a beautiful relaxing night.

Day 4: Imlil – Marrakech

Once you enjoy the breakfast and fresh morning in the mountain area, feel free to stay to explore the place on your own, and after some time we head back to Marrakesh city, to have a free evening.

Day 5: Marrakech – Essaouira

Today we go for a journey to a different environment and different spirit, time to hit the road to Morocco Atlantic coast, Essaouira city for about 3 hours and a half. The name “Essaouira” means a little picture, and it is a really a picturesque town, with a blue and white vigorous old medina, stoned gates, colored ramparts, and harbor.

Once you reach the city, you take a break in your Hotel in the medina, and after that you have the whole afternoon for yourself to enjoy it, and go for a free walk to explore the beautiful town on your own, you can start with the old medina, local souk, you can have fresh fish meal there, then check in the Skala, and gaze at the sunset laying behind the ocean waves, then end the day with a walk on the beach at night.

Day 6: From Essaouira to Marrakech

Today, you have the whole morning part to see the city in the early day light time, discover the places you did not have the chance to see the day before.

After some time, we go back to Marrakesh city for an overnight, and to have time for shopping and getting souvenir local items.

Day 7: Marrakesh – departure/ Marrakesh to Casablanca Airport

After getting most of Morocco, the ochre city, the desert of Agafay, the Atlas Mountains, and the coastal city, now you must have a colorful taste on the country, and many memories to share with everyone back home.

Today we take you to the airport according to your flight details, to say good bye to Morocco, hoping it is not the last time as there is more still undiscovered.
